Article types

The Progress in Color Colorants and Coatings publishes Full Text Papers and Reviews

Review articles

This type provides a concise overview of the current opinion in a particular topic, are welcomed. Authors of a review article should contact one of the Editors to check the suitability of their topic before submitting their review. Authors applying to publish review articles must state their motivation for publishing the article.

Submission checklist

The following list will be useful during the final checking of an article prior to sending it to the journal for review. Please consult this Guide for Authors (Instruction) for further details of any item.

Ensure that the following items are present:

Title page: This file should include the names of all authors and their affiliations.

One author has been identified as the corresponding author with contact details:

  • E-mail address (Preferably an academic email).
  • Full postal address
  • Phone numbers

Main files have been uploaded, and contain:

  • Tile of manuscript
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Main Text (Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgements (optional) and References).
  • All figure captions
  • All tables (including title, description, footnotes)
  • All figures, graphs, tables, schemes, equations, and illustrations have a caption and put in the text. 

Further considerations

  • Manuscript has been 'spell-checked' and 'grammar-checked'
  • References are in the correct format for this journal
  • All references mentioned in the Reference list are cited in the text. The references are based on the Vancouver style in this journal. 
  • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources
